When I went to visit the Bethany House offices in Minnesota I had a chance to record an interview about my novel. It’s hard not to feel self-conscious when you’re sitting at a table with a camera pointed at you, but the staff did a great job of putting me at ease. Hope you enjoy the video!
Here’s what I learned by watching it:
-My hair looked better than I thought it would.
-I talk with my hands. A LOT.
-I smile really big. A LOT.
-Video editing is my friend.
-I really like the music they chose! Nice touch.
-It makes me really, really happy to have a chance to share my love of Appalachia (and my family, and the farm, and my stories) with anyone who shows even the slightest interest. Can’t wait to share more!
I truly enjoyed that on a slow Monday morning. Hair was great, hands were busy, smile was endearing and I loved the music! AND I noticed a real paper copy of your e-book in the background… is it the only one? 😉
It MIGHT be a print-out of the cover pasted over a different book.
Ohhhh!!
Wow, that was great! I loved hearing your voice again, and seeing your smile. The world can’t possibly get enough of your lovely smile!
Loved this!
Thank you for that!
Thanks for the video it was great and you do have a lovely smile!
Aww–thanks!
