Of course, yesterday was Valentine’s Day. And the focus tends to really zero in on romantic love. There are cards, gifts, candy, lingerie, wine, dinners out and so on. Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a “love” day that focused on God’s love for us? You know, perfect love. Unconditional love. The love that we so often forget about in our pursuit of earthly, fallible love.
I think Wendy Francisco has done an amazing job of capturing the love I’m talking about in her YouTube video “God and Dog.” Give it a look. Even if you don’t have a dog.
