August 19, 2018 – French Creek Pioneers – 5-7 p.m. – Since 1916 the descendants of the French Creek pioneers have gathered at French Creek Presbyterian Church to reminisce, enjoy good food, and conduct a business meeting. The Phillips family from my Appalachian Blessings series is inspired by my own extended family–descendants of David Phillips who was one of those early French Creek pioneers in 1815.
May 3, 2018 – Presbyterian Women Birthday Luncheon – 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – I’ll be speaking at Brevard Davidson River Presbyterian Church in Brevard, NC. I’ll share about my ministry work at Black Mountain Home for Children as well as my writing.
April 20-21, 2018 – Southern Kentucky Book Fest – I’ll be signing books, participating in a panel, and leading a class. The event is at the Knicely Conference Center, 2355 Nashville Road in Bowling Green, KY.
February 16-18, 2018 – Asheville Christian Writers Conference – I’ll be teaching at this annual conference held at the Billy Graham Training Center in Asheville, NC.
October 27 – WV Book Festival – Time TBD – Can I even begin to tell you how excited I am to be part of a romance writers panel in my home state?!? Stay tuned for additional details.
September 26 – ACFW North Georgia Chapter, 7-9 p.m. – I’ll be leading a discussion about bringing your setting to life (and making it a character all its own!). For me, Appalachia is practically another character in my novels. We’ll talk about how place can add depth to a story.
May 6 – Giant Book Fair from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. – One of the last events at the RT Book Lovers Convention will be a HUGE signing at the Hyatt Regency with 500+ authors including me. Bring your own books to be signed or buy them there.
May 4 – Books! Chocolate! Authors! – I’ll be joining a group of inspirational authors at the RT Book Lovers Convention in Atlanta, Ga.
March 25 – Women’s Ministry March Gathering – 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. – Lake Forest Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Huntersville, NC. Join us for a lesson in forgiveness drawn from my novels (and more importantly, the Bible!).
February 17-19 – Asheville Christian Writers Conference – I’ll be teaching two classes at this small conference at The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville.
December 2 – Holly Jolly in downtown Black Mountain, NC. Come enjoy small-town holiday charm. Local authors (including me!) will be selling and signing books at Black Mountain United Methodist Church.
August 13 – WNC Author Festival from 12-4 p.m. at Barnes & Noble at the Asheville Mall, Asheville, NC – The first annual festival will feature a dozen local authors representing genres as varied as art, history, romance, and sports.
August 11 – Book Launch at 6 p.m. at The Thicket Farm, 323 Dillingham Circle, Asheville, NC – Join me for a reading, sale, and signing of the final novel in the Appalachian Blessings series.
May 1 – Barnes & Noble at the Asheville Mall, Asheville, NC – Reading and signing from 1-3 p.m. as part of the Literacy Council of Buncombe County Bookfair.
Feb. 19-21 – Asheville Christian Writers’ Conference – The Cove in Asheville, NC – Three day conference for Christian writers and those who want to be.
