I keep thinking it might be okay to start watching the news again. Then I do and . . . oh well. But it IS okay–more than okay–to check in with summer in the mountains of western North Carolina. While I’m more of a fan of spring and fall, I sure don’t mind reveling in the verdant forests and fields after I snap off the TV and shut my laptop down.
Here’s some of that same refreshment for you just in case you, too, need to get out of your head and just soak in the beauty of creation. What’s your favorite summer flower?
Living in my backyard this summer (avoiding going out) and my eye treat is a berm I planted last summer with a mix of day lilies and lavender. The bees and butterflies are liking it too!
That must smell AMAZING!!
