I’m spending some time this weekend at the Writers Advance Boot Camp in Asheville, NC. It’s a wonderful conference that’s ideal for writers looking to get their feet wet in the conference world. Not too big, not too expensive, and staffed with incredible folks who will knock participants socks off without being too intimidating.
I went last year and this year I’m serving as a volunteer (I mean, it’s 20 minutes from my house!).
I’ve been thinking about other conferences I might attend this year and how much fun it is to keep learning. I was one of those kids who actually liked school. So this whole going to writing conferences with classes business has been my cup of tea.
