Appalachian Thursday–Blessings

It’s been a good book week for me. Early reviews are out for A Tapestry of Secrets from RT Book Reviews as well as Publishers Weekly, I got my first copies of Tapestry in the mail, and Until the Harvest was nominated for a Carol Award.

It’s enough to make me feel like . . . an author!

On days when my world seems more about dealing with family matters, job stresses, church activities, making dinner, and walking the dog I can almost forget I’m an author. But then some exciting bits and pieces pile up and I remember THIS is the dream and give thanks for it. So today all I really have for you is a photo of my babies–all three novels in the Appalachian Blessings series–lined up on my kitchen island.

The family is complete!

  1. A beautiful family portrait indeed, but far from complete. I see dozens coming down the pike. I thank God for the chance to watch and enjoy your happiness along the way to fulfilling your dreams.
