Video Interview–Miracle in a Dry Season

When I went to visit the Bethany House offices in Minnesota I had a chance to record an interview about my novel. It’s hard not to feel self-conscious when you’re sitting at a table with a camera pointed at you, but the staff did a great job of putting me at ease. Hope you enjoy the video!

Here’s what I learned by watching it:
-My hair looked better than I thought it would.
-I talk with my hands. A LOT.
-I smile really big. A LOT.
-Video editing is my friend.
-I really like the music they chose! Nice touch.
-It makes me really, really happy to have a chance to share my love of Appalachia (and my family, and the farm, and my stories) with anyone who shows even the slightest interest. Can’t wait to share more!

  1. I truly enjoyed that on a slow Monday morning. Hair was great, hands were busy, smile was endearing and I loved the music! AND I noticed a real paper copy of your e-book in the background… is it the only one? 😉
